I am a tamilian from tamil nadu. Supporting a Chinese GM will have consequences here. In the present scenario, it wont make much difference because the benefits i get from tamil nadu chess and indian chess is zero. Even minus -. Minus to the extreme. All money. You pay and play tournaments. That's all. It would have been better if they have followed their normal routine instead of changing them to "suppress" ... I have a youtube channel. Whenever i would post a video, i would send links to about 10 - 12 persons. Tell you what !! If it was 3 views at the time of posting it would be 4 views, the next day. May be, one of those 10 persons clicked the link by mistake. Perhaps, it was my own view for 4th time. They all must have been careful not to click the link. At one point, the number of subscribers were 13. It was still 13 upon 10 acquaitances. These persons do not want to support me even by clicking a link and making the views as 3 to 4. Not even that much, they do. I am sure not a single of them pressed the "subscribe" button. 13 subscribers was for long time till i made a Jackie Chan video post that broke all records of my channel. 47 K views and 200+ subscribers. The tamilians never increased views or subscribers. That is tamil nadu and india. Because they play good chess, do not think that they are great people.

Once, i wrote to FIDE requesting for change of federation because i did not want to see the indian flag near my name, anywhere. Unforturnately, FIDE does not change Federation except for reasons of war, calamite or other extreme situations. So i painfully have to play, if i rise to the top, with the "detesed" indian flag near my name and face.
Supporting a Chinese GM won't change anything in my life. If they have been supporting me, helping me psychologically then it would be a loss for me. Whether i support Ding or not, situations are not going to change. Their hatred and jealousy will remain the same.
indian chess fed might "influence" lichess and get rid of this page and so it would be wise to publish this same page in my blogspot (text first written for Lichess blog) where nobody can delete the page and my observations (here in this blogspot)
