Background:

In my school days, many scooters were there. Bajaj Chetak, Priya, Super, Cub, LML Vespa etc. Then came Kinetic Honda, the first scooter to have "electric start". A red square button with words "electric start". Press it, the scooter will start and you can go in style without kicking and kicking.

Then i heard of this Guiness record by Kinetic honda engine. It was run non stop for 21 days or so. That was incorrect memory. The number "21" perhaps overlapped on real number in memory. These days, the internet is there. I fed it and searched for it and got the result.

Har Parkash Rishi (Guinness Rishi), Amarjeet Singh and Navjot Chadha (all India) kept a Kinetic Honda DX 100 cc scooter in non-stop motion for 41 days 17 hours, covering 30,965 km (19,241 miles) at Traffic Park, Pune, Maharashtra, India between 22 April and 3 June 1990

Likewise, a chess player can create such record with Max time spent playing parameter with potential to enter Guinness records. On that day or period of time, the player should be under direct supervision of a FIDE or Guiness representative. The number of hours may be 24 hrs in 36 hrs time, 50 hrs in 72 hrs time or 100 hrs in 144 hrs etc. ***This is an extremely dangerous activity and not everyone be allowed to participate. ***

As Lichess does not have built in "Max time spent playing" rankings, with difficulty, the records of top players of Lichess Marathons were observed and noted hereunder. The ranking list is not accurate for it may change upon discovery of better record by a chess player. I was ranked 600+ of 20,555 players at 2024 Autumn marathon and have 16 hrs 17 min run whereas those who finished top 10, half of them don't have my run. Their victories were more and points were like 2,4, 5 and goes on like that with beserks.

A player who finished 700th might have 17 hrs run with 280 losses but for "Max time spent playing" he is worth considering. So the ranking list will change every week and every month with every discovery of better player with more hours run but sure after 2 months time it should remain unchanged.

Better if Lichess creates "built in" mechanism and assigns "ranking" for players at "Max time spent playing" section and also produces list of players because there is a player profile NMLance5500 who played only 4 hrs but it shows 2 days + for him (error).

If Lichess writes a program line and puts up a display of ranking "Max time spent playing". He will be number 1 but it is error. Only 4 hrs+ played, it shows 2 days 23 hrs ????? So a list of players (downloadable) like FIDE ratings at FIDE website would be better for checking their time run with username.
