Ninety-five percent of what he earns he usually gives it to
people. He has spent several millions of dollars from his wallet for the
benefit of chess. He also arranges millions of dollars using his relationship
with big business men for chess matches.
He predicts “ next century will belong to chess “
The below mentioned disclosures are of considerable
significance and the main reason why this webpage was created. To inform simple
people of the magnanimous gesture of one good man and other good men
At the same time you
announce all kinds of chess events in countries that you also do business with.
'Yes, because I have very close relations with business men
in Korea .
For
example the honorary chairman of the Hyundai Group. They
produce
cars, ships and so on. Also in the United States I
have a lot of friends
among big business men. And I ask them to help chess.
(Laughs in feigned
desperation) But they don't know chess. They don't play
chess. And every
time I ask them to help chess. I am using my relations for
chess. These
business men, of course they cannot earn anything from
chess, but they
donate to chess because they know me.'
Don 't they want
something back for their money?
'Not now, but maybe in several years when I will have raised
the image of
FIDE and of chess. Then. Now chess doesn't give back money.
I have invested
several millions of dollars in chess but I have not yet
earned back
anything.'

When referring to Buddhism, this line is often used “ The
heart of a buddhist”
A true buddhist monk’s heart is very kind and gentle. The kindness
and gentleness is not a forced one and burden to them. It is natural. They will
not be aware that they are kind and gentle because they have not cultivated it.
If you will give air to breathe, water to drink, food to
live, the buddhist monks will be perfectly happy. They do not require anything
more.
The great Indian Osho who had 93 Rolls Royce cars (his
disciples wanted to make them as 365 for their beloved master) in America has
told “ If the car is there, it is for you, not for me”. It is true. He could
have lived well with just food and water. The people of society are interested
only in show-offs. If a half-baked person will build a huge ashram and talk
nonsense, people will flock there in thousands and give away millions. Whereas
if a partial Buddhist monk or an enlightened master will sit in a house and
talk useful things, it will not be appreciated. He will only be insulted. That
is the reason why people like Osho and Kirsan Ilyumzhinov travelled and travel
in Rolls Royce cars. It is because of the attitude of society people.
During one period in China , the buddhist monks became
thousands in number and it became a heavy burden on the people of society who
fed them. Few buddhist monks like Tozan, Lin Chi felt this and started to work in the
society so that they will not be a burden to it. Really, in China you will
find an enlightened master doing works in society. Or in Elista, you might find
partial buddhist monk like Kirsan Ilyumzhinov working hard for the benefit of
the little board game called chess.
